Team Building for Marfin Bank
Food unites. When people share a meal energy exchange occurs among them. Food brings people together. When a large company cooks dinner together, and then share it at the common – this is work for a team in unusual conditions. It helps to get to know your colleagues better, for new people to quickly join the team, and for someone to break stereotypes about themselves. We are very pleased that the Marfin Bank project team has chosen our school for the cooking team building. For this class chef Alexander Stefoglo offered a Greek menu. Greek cuisine did not have a chance to become a high art – it always remained simple, cheerful and rustic, it doesn’t require complicated presentation, long preparation and individual serving of dishes. On the contrary, everything cooked is put on a common table and eaten with the merry chatter, folk songs and dances, celebrating love for life. We cooked: tzatziki, Cretan salad, revani cake and famous Greek moussaka. Specially for this lesson, school sommelier Konstantin Vidoborenko brought wines from the island of Mykonos, that are not exported from Greece: White Winds’ Island Nico Lazaridis and Red 2006 Winds’ Island Nico Lazaridis so that our guests can try something unique. It seems to us that we managed to inspire this friendly team to cook the most cheerful cuisine food- Greek, and be sure to try it later in the country “… where the streets are lined with feta cheese” – Greece!
