Lesson “Sweet Secrets 2”
Although we usually don’t repeat classes in our school, and we always try to show and teach you something new, there were so many people who wanted to get to Veronika Pavlyutina’s lesson, we decided to hold it once again. She quit a successful career for the sake of her beloved business, went to study with French pastry chefs to open her dream confectionery at the heart of Odessa. For the lesson Veronica came up with a menu of simple sweets that one can prepare for their family every day. The lesson menu included muffins with chocolate, berries, poppy seed and lemon. Veronica told us how to simply change the recipe in order to cook non-sweet muffins, for example, with fried onions, bacon, cheese, olives, that very successfully complement breakfast. The culmination of our lesson was a beautiful cake, with pistachios and raspberries, a signature dessert from Veronika’s Plyushkin confectionery. During the lesson, we were able to fully demonstrate our creativity: we decorated chocolates and cake, created caramel decorations. We learned how to use confectionery equipment, without which the preparation of desserts would not be such a simple and quick process. Our pastry classes were held with the support of French brands Dammann tea and chocolate Domori, their tasting completed our sweet lesson.
