Lesson “Tagine in Promenu”
One of the best tableware chain stores – Promenu, which includes 26 stores across Ukraine, invited us to conduct a series of cooking master classes. Clients of the network are people who like to cook with the help of beautiful, high-quality and convenient cookware. Very often there are new items from the world of tableware and cookware in the stores, and it’s not always easy to understand how they work without the help of professionals. The fourth lesson of the cycle of cooking master classes in the Promenu chain stores was dedicated to our school favourite – tagine. Tagine is not only the name of the dish, but also the cookware of a special form in which this dish is prepared. During the lesson, we cooked fish with vegetables and Moroccan spices in the tagines of the French ceramic manufacturer Emile Henry. Chef Vadim Chevganiuk taught us how to cut fish, mix spices for fragrant tagine, showed us how to get ready a new tagine before first use, and how to handle the tagine lid properly. All guests of the lesson tasted the dish with the French wine Elisabeth Viognier 2010 Domaine de la Baume, selected by sommelier Konstantin Vidoborenko. On this day, all the guests of the lesson left with the understanding that tagine is a dish that not only allows one to cook delicious meals, but can also decorate any kitchen and, of course, a festive table. And the most beautiful tagines can be found in Promenu stores, which not only sell goods, but also gift new knowledge and delicious emotions.
