Lesson Red Velvet Cake

The first dessert I tried in England was a bright red biscuit cake, and it was unlike anything I had ever tried or cooked before. It was impossible to guess how it tastes like just by looking at it. Red velvet cake impressed me so much I wanted to learn how to bake it, and then teach you. I couldn’t manage so easily with this recipe without the KitchenAid planetary food processor. When I make desserts, this is my favourite assistant in the kitchen. For desserts in England, Spanish sherry is often served.
