Fig and goat cheese canapés with lavender honey

Ingredients
  • 1 baguette
  • 200 g hard goat cheese
  • 6 fresh figs
  • 4 tbsp lavender honey or another honey with a bright aroma
Cooking method
  1. Heat the oven to 200°C. Slice the baguette. Cover a baking tray with parchment, place bread slices and grate goat cheese on top of each. Bake in the oven for 5 minutes.
  2. Slice the figs. Place 2-3 pieces of figs on each canapé. Drizzle with lavender honey and serve immediately.
My tips and tricks
It is better to use goat cheese for this dish. But if you haven't found a hard one, you can take any other goat cheese you find in the store. It will do perfectly. The recognizable aroma of goat milk adds zest to this canapé.
