No bake chocolate cookie truffles or Kartoshka

Ingredients
  • 200 g cookies
  • 100 g butter, melted
  • 2 tbsp sugar
  • 2 tbsp cocoa without sugar
  • 2 tbsp milk
  • For the decoration:
  • 100 g chocolate corn flakes
  • 50 g dark chocolate
  • icing sugar
Cooking method
  1. Grind the cookies into crumbs using a mixer or rolling pin. In a large bowl, mix together cookies, cocoa, and sugar. Add melted butter and milk. Knead the dough. Form into a ball, wrap in cling film, and refrigerate for 30 minutes.
  2. Melt chocolate in a bain-marie pan. Take out the dough and divide into 6 equal parts. Form an oval cone from each part. Pour corn flakes into a plate. Dip each "scale" from one side in melted chocolate and decorate the pine cone. Always start decorating the cone from the top, and moving in a circle, gradually go down. Put the finished truffles in the refrigerator for 30 minutes. Lightly sprinkle the finished truffles with powdered sugar, as if magic happened in the kitchen, and the first soft and fluffy snow had started!
My tips and tricks
If you don't make these truffles for Christmas, then you can go an easier way: form balls of dough and roll them in coconut flakes, lightly fried chopped nuts, biscuit or waffle crumbs, or just in cocoa. And if you make them for adults, add a tablespoon of your favourite aromatic alcohol to the dough: rum, cognac or fortified wine.
